Welcome to Playpack. Mayadem Teknoloji A.Ş. and its affiliates (collectively, “Mayadem,” “Playpack,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operate games, apps, and related services designed for children and families (the “Services”). Our Services include our mobile applications (collectively, the “Apps”), our websites at mayadem.com and playpack.fun (the “Site”), and authorized partner products and services.

This Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use (“Terms,” incorporated by reference) apply to anyone who interacts with our Services globally. We are committed to protecting the Personal Data (as defined below) of individuals who interact with our Services. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices and rights you have.

Types of Personal Data We May Collect, Use, and Disclose

“Personal Data” means any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with an individual or data subject. It includes “personal information” as defined by applicable laws. It does not include aggregated, de-identified, anonymized, or publicly available information.

Directly from you and other users through your use of the Services and participation in Mayadem programs
Through cookies and tracking technologies (see Section 2)
From third parties, including service providers, analytics providers, business and marketing partners, ad networks, and advertisers
From government agencies or public records
From social media or other platforms if you access the Services through a third-party connection or interact with us there

We may supplement or combine the above with information from other sources, online or offline.

Because categories can overlap, some data may fall into multiple categories.

Biometric information. Your device may use biometrics to unlock or authenticate you; we do not receive that device-level biometric data. If you use voice search in the Services, voice data is processed to facilitate search only. It is not used to identify you and is not required to use the Services.

User preferences and automated tools. The Services may use automated tools to suggest content based on your interactions (for example, favorite genres, session length, completion status, and similar signals).

Chat features. We may provide customer support via chat or email, which may use AI/NLP to understand questions and automate responses. Using chat is optional. Chats may be recorded and processed by us and our providers to operate and improve support. If you do not consent, do not use chat and contact us by email instead.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to provide, protect, analyze, and improve the Services. Partners may place similar technologies on your device when you use the Services.

Strictly necessary cookies enable core features (security, sign-in, essential navigation).
Performance/analytics cookies help us understand usage and improve functionality and content.
Functionality cookies remember choices and personalize your experience.
Targeting/advertising cookies may deliver content based on your interests and measure effectiveness, where permitted.

You can control cookies in your browser or device settings. Some features may not function without certain cookies.

Analytics. We may use analytics services such as Google Analytics, Firebase, and Firebase Crashlytics. These services may receive your IP address and usage information and process it on their servers. You can learn about Google’s opt-out options at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and limit certain Firebase features via your device settings.

Meta/Facebook tools. We may use Meta Business Tools (including Facebook Pixel). See Meta’s Privacy Policy and adjust your ad preferences in your Meta account settings.

Session data. We and our partners may collect session-level interaction data (e.g., button clicks, scrolls, device info, screen size) for diagnostics and product improvement. Some sessions may be recorded for internal analysis.

Ad choices. Some partners participate in DAA/NAI opt-out programs. See youradchoices.com, aboutads.info/appchoices, and networkadvertising.org/choices for options. These tools are browser/device-specific. You may still see non-targeted content after opting out.

Child-directed experience. The Playpack App is designed to be ad-free for children’s use. We do not serve interest-based ads to children in the Playpack App. Site-level analytics and limited cookies may still operate for functionality, security, and aggregate measurement.

Disclosure of Personal Data

We may disclose Personal Data:

Among brands and affiliates for Service delivery and internal administration
To service providers for payment processing, hosting, analytics, safety, support, marketing on our behalf, and similar services
To platform advertising partners to reach audiences likely to be interested in our Services (not applicable to child-directed experiences in the Playpack App)
For compliance and safety as required by law or valid legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and property
In business transactions such as mergers, reorganizations, or asset sales, where your data may transfer as part of the transaction

Data Retention

We retain Personal Data as long as needed for the purposes described, including to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods depend on the duration of our relationship, legal requirements, and our need to maintain records for security, fraud prevention, and business continuity. Email addresses may be retained until you unsubscribe or remove yourself through available tools.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Personal Data. Measures can include encryption and contractual commitments from vendors handling Personal Data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Privacy Rights and Choices; Disclosures

(a) General

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your Personal Data, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of Personal Data where applicable. We will honor requests consistent with legal and contractual obligations.

Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link or contact privacy@mayadem.com. Some essential, service-related emails are not subject to opt-out.
Requests: submit using the contact information in How to Contact Us.
Verification: we will verify your identity and residency as permitted by law. Authorized agents may submit requests where allowed with proof of authority.
Fees: we do not charge unless a request is excessive or unfounded, as permitted by law.

(b) GDPR/UK GDPR Rights

If you are in the EU/EEA/UK or a jurisdiction with substantially similar laws, you may have the rights to be informed; access; rectification; erasure; restrict processing; data portability; object; and withdraw consent.

Legal bases. We process Personal Data where necessary to perform a contract, for our legitimate interests (service operation, safety, fraud prevention, analytics, improvement, and compatible marketing), to comply with legal obligations, or with your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time; some features may require certain data to function.

Age limitation. Where required by law, children under 16 need verifiable parental consent to use the Services. Parents/guardians who believe a child used the Services without required consent should contact us at privacy@mayadem.com.

(c) California Disclosures

Shine the Light: California residents may request a list of third parties to whom we disclosed Personal Data for their direct marketing and the categories disclosed. Email privacy@mayadem.com with “California Shine The Light Rights” in the subject.
Do Not Track: Industry standards for DNT are not uniform; we do not respond to DNT signals at this time.
CCPA/CPRA: At this time, Mayadem may not meet applicability thresholds. If and when it applies, we will provide required notices and tools.

Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect, use, disclose, share, or sell Personal Data of children under 16 without legally required parental consent. If we learn we collected such data without verifiable consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it promptly. Parents/guardians may contact privacy@mayadem.com to request removal.

Children under 16 may use the Services only with required parental consent, which may vary by jurisdiction. We use reasonable age verification methods where applicable. Minors over 16 may consent on their own where permitted by law.

International Transfers

We operate from Türkiye and in other jurisdictions. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection laws than your own. By using the Services or providing information, you acknowledge such transfers. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, consistent with applicable law.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post updates here, update the effective date, and, where required, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective signifies acceptance of the updated policy.
